White Sangria

This is a wonderful refreshing drink to have with just about any meal!

The longer it sits the better it tastes so make it the day before.

I reserve it for holidays since I can drink the whole thing by myself.

So I make sure someone is there to share!

You are warned.

One more thing, you can use any wine or fruit you like, just make sure it is something with a little juice that is sweet. Well maybe not banana…

White Sangria

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: —
Total Time: 4 to 24 hours
Serves: 1 gallon

Software
1 large bottle a sweet wine (Mine was 1.5 liter bottle of Gallo Moscato)
1 Medium lime
1 large lemon
1 large orange
1 apple (I used a red delicious)
1 cup pineapple chunks drained
5 large strawberries
1 12 oz can of ginger ale chilled
agave nectar or honey if needed*

Hardware
1 gallon covered pitcher
1 long spoon
Cutting board and knife
Instructions
Wash all your fruit. Cut lemon, lime and orange into slices. Cut apple into wedges removing the core. Core and stem the strawberries then cut into bite size pieces.
Add all the fruit and wine to the pitcher and stir.
Refrigerate and let it sit for at least 4 hours but overnight is better.
Just before serving add the ginger ale and stir gently. Serve. Keeps for about 3 days refrigerated.

*if it is not sweet enough for you feel free to add Agave syrup, honey, or even a simple syrup to taste.
I garnished mine with a slice of lime pulled from the sangria and a fresh strawberry.
