I happened across a pound of lovely strawberries today.
They actually jumped off the shelf an into my cart
(really they did I promise 😉
Okay maybe not really.
But I couldn’t help but buy them, they looked so good!!
Maybe I shouldn’t be allowed to shop.
Anyway this sauce is the result.
It is beautiful, so red and so YUM! You could use it on crepes, in a parfait, over cakes, brownies or even mixed in yogurt!
Best of all, no seeds in your teeth!

Strawberrvery good sauce on the bottom, 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, warm nutella sauce and fresh whipped cream with a cherry on top.

Strawberryvery Good sauce (so easy it is not safe!)
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 1-1/4 cups
1lb fresh strawberries
1/4 cup Grenadine*
Food processor or blender
Fine Mesh Strainer
Bowl that strainer fits inside without touching the bottom
Core strawberries and remove leaves. Cut into quarters place in food processor, add grenadine.
Pulse until it is just pureed. Place strainer over the bowl.
Pour strawberry puree into the strainer and using the back of the spoon push the liquid through the strainer.
Continue until the pulp is all that is left. Discard pulp and serve!
* this depends on your strawberries, if they are really sweet and liquid then use a little less if they are not sweet or dry use a little more!
